2) Group Day By Day or a Visit "Backstage" with the Group

People should "try us on" and see if they like what they see and feel - we don't force or speed up enrolling in something so serious as our activities and what they represent!

As such, people should work of their own free will, working together for the whole. While it is natural to like some things more than others, clearly there are activities in which all have a duty to participate and help.

In Recriar a História, no one is going to ask anything excessive or humiliating of its members, just as there isn't (nor will there ever be) anyone who takes pleasure in taking advantage of others, nor in taking advantage of the group for their own ends.

Recreations take place only after considerable work - it is basic that people understand that our activities in recreating history, which are public activities (and can be seen in the "Time Line" and in the "Chronicles of Reenactment), are the result of considerable research, based on concrete information about the period in question, assiduously worked out over more than fifteen years in development activities, such as those illustrated below:

Cleaning up the building
During a textile class

A historical "medley"
Training in forming the Roman "Tortoise"

Legionnaires digging the Fort's dry ditch
Training recruits for the Legion

A class on medieval conventual life
Repairing a dress

A meeting on projects and activities
The 17th Anniversary of the Ordem: always a party!

Planting the medieval garden
Building an adobe wall

Fellowship at the end of the Workshop
The General Meeting of the members

School activities
Living history within everyone's reach

The "Indomitable Gauls"

Jumping over the fire - there's even time for that!

This was a "naughty" re-enactor... iol
A truly fine vintage!

The "Other" Particpiants

As you must have noticed, equestrian activities (how could they not be...) occur in nearly all historical periods or the Horse wouldn't be Man's best (true...) friend.

As we are responsible equestrians, these Friends of ours have a great deal of attention dedicated to them by those interested in this area: they do a little bit of everything! This means that, in the end, actually riding the horse takes up the least time!

A theory class on horses

Beginning equitation training
Preparing the animal's tack...
Riding and training in various aspects of mounted combat...
Finally, untacking the horse and cleaning his feet.
Giving a bath (not to the dog ) but to the horse...
Drying the mount and taking him to his stable area.
